Escanaba RiverSubmitted by Admin on Fri, 07/03/2009 - 00:41
The Escanaba River is a river in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. The Escanaba River in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is generally a wider river that was has formed a channel in the rock that is the UP in Michigan. The river supports a variety of fish ranging from brook, brown and some rainbow trout through to some warmwater species such as bass and carp. One thing to keep in mind is that there are a number of dams on the Escanaba so a portage may be inevitable if you are making a long journey by river. Location
