Carlilse is a solid choice for families

I've canoed with these folks several times. They have a nice setup and reasonable prices. The location is ideal. They have been able to accommodate both small and very large groups. It's pretty laid back so you can stock the coolers with alcohol but don't point that out because officially I don't think they allow it. Penrod's openly allows alcohol as long as you (obviously) only bring cans.

These folks also have ample showers and a small store for supplies.

Oh, one last thing. This stretch of the river has several nice places to pull off and hang out so I recommend doing a 2.5 hour trip but scheduling a pickup at 4 hours so you can afford to take your time and chill out.
