One of my favorite additions to Jstroke has been the ability to tell each other about the rivers, lakes, and waterways we frequent. By adding that important piece of information to pictures, blog posts,outfitter descriptions, etc. you really give the community and prospective clients (if you're in the outfitter or livery business) a great way to learn about the location and to get a feel for what it is about the waterway that makes it special.

In my opinion, it's the best way to tell the community what you love about your favorite rivers. It's easy to add a river to Jstroke. Navigate to the Add Waterway page. Give the river, lake, or waterway a title (ex: Ausable River, Lake Meade, etc). Give a description. You can be as descriptive as you want or not but you wouldn't be creating the river if you didn't have something to share with the community right? The last step is to pin point the location on the map and fill in the state (primary state if it crosses state lines). The state is important because that will make finding it on Jstroke easier for the rest of us.
