This is the only boat ramp on the Deep Fork River in Oklahoma.   The boat ramp and large gravel parking lot are a recent developments made as part of the Deep Fork River Wildlife Refuge.  You can paddle upstream or downstream for many miles from this boat ramp.  Catfish and Gar are plentiful hear as are snakes.  This muddy red river carries a sticky red clay that may just stick with you for quite sometime after you leave.  No outfitters or lodging is available, but the access point is quite close to the Gave Creek access into Lake Eufaula...another great flatwater kayaking spot in central, Oklahoma right on Highway 266.
